Twisty puzzles
Some (most?) people believe that you can't add apples and oranges.  These people give, as a classic example,

What is 1 apple + 2 oranges?

Anyone who doesn't know the answer should go to a "special education" class, because everyone else knows the answer!

Well, I'm here to tell you the answer, in case you need "special education":

1 apple + 2 oranges = 3 fruits

So I hope it is now clear: you CAN add apples and oranges, although the result is neither apples nor oranges.  The result is another class: fruit.
