This section of my site contains information relating to hardware that can be used with multiple types
of Commodore computers. I also have quite a bit of info about hardware related to the Commodore 128;
see the C128 section for more...
First off, is the notorious 1541 disk drive. This 5.25 inch floppy disk drive will easily connect to
a VIC-20, Commodore 64, or Commodore 128. Floppy disk drives, like the C1541 were popular
in the United States of America during the height of Commodore's success.
Even slower, but less noisy, is the audio cassette storage device C1530.
It uses standard audio cassette tapes and was popular in Europe and Australia during the height
of Commodore's success.

It goes a bit into software too because the CPU is where hardware and software interface.
